Showing Non-grouped Polygons |
| |
Just as it can be useful to find multigrouped polygons, it can also be useful to find polygons that have been left out of any group.
- Uncheck the "Show Multigrouped Faces" check box if you have not already done so.
- Check the "Show Non-grouped Faces" box. This will cause all polygons not in any group to turn red (and this is the only situation when you will see non-grouped polygons in red).

| Q. |
So this would be bad for figure creation, too? |
| A. |
Yes. If you are making a figure and you leave out polygons, you will end up with holes in the figure. Again, as with multigrouped polygons, it may be perfectly acceptable to have non-grouped polygons in some situations. |

| |
| The red polygon does not belong to any group. |

| An excellent character-driven sci-fi story. I did the book cover illustration, "At the Window". |
