Final Check

In Mac OS9, this is the final dialog you get when you click "Print..." from the Print with Preview dialog. Your OS may be different.

Normally after doing all the other steps I do not have to change anything here, but it is always good to look it over (you may note that this is the same dialog we already saw before, though in your OS it may differ). Again, I am set up for Enhanced Matte paper at 2880 dpi with custom color adjustment.

As a side note, if you have not printed anything in a day or two, it is sometimes good to click the little square button at the top with the screwdriver and wrench in it. This will take you to another dialog where you can perform a nozzle check, which will tell you if any of the printer ink nozzles are clogged. If they are, you can also run the cleaning utility from there.

Assuming there are no clogs, I click print here and then wait for the paper to come through the printer. After that I have to put the image in a mat and package it up for sale, but that's another story...

An excellent character-driven sci-fi story. I did the book cover illustration, "At the Window".
