From time to time I receive requests about using my images for various purposes, including "tubing". For that reason I decided to create a stated policy. While I applaud the fact that many people who use tubes to recreate images are now more aware of copyright and willing to ask for permission, an artist still has the right and the need to control how his work is used.

In general, I will not allow my work to be used by other people unless I am either compensated or it has a tangible promotional benefit.

Commercial Use

No commercial use of any kind is permitted without negotiating a licensing agreement.

Licensing agreements will be negotiated on a case-by-case basis and will involve fees, so please do not contact me about it unless you are serious and prepared to pay. If my art is good enough for you to make money on, then it is good enough for me to make money on, too.

Non-Commercial Use

Generally, if I want my images displayed somewhere, I will put them there. I do not permit unauthorized use of my images in online galleries, signature tags, etc. If I become aware of such use I will ask the person(s) displaying my image(s) to cease and desist, and I reserve the right to take legal action as well.

• I do not under any circumstances permit my images to be used without my explicit permission.
• I do not permit my images to be altered in any way.
• I do not permit anyone to remove the "dacort" watermark, nor the copyright text with my year and the name.
• I do not permit my images to be resized by any means.
• I do not permit my images or portions thereof to be used as part of other images.
• I do not permit my images to be used without full credit to me and a link back to my website.
• I do not permit the miniature "thumbnail" versions of my images to be used for any reason.
