This shot was impossible to reproduce exactly, as the Caltrain grade crossing separation on Ralston Avenue in the 1990s completely changed this area. The tracks, out of view to the left in the 1976 photo, are now on top of the concrete bridge over the street in the 2006 photo.

I remember that there were quite a number of people opposed to the demolition of the old Country Store building, but it ultimately succumbed.
